"The Smallwood Procedure" Video Review
With news of an Antonio signature BSD "Tweeker" frame dropping, I wanted to revisit this classic by Luc Lynch-Rice that introduced me to Mr.Smallwood
From the first line, I knew I was gonna love this video. VX footy, Luc Lynch-Rice - procedure edit, classic rock from the Hollies, and that's before even seeing the talent and style Antonio was about to lay down.
Following a not-very-chill 2nd-clip kink rail double peg to hanger, I was audibly impressed by this crazy tooth to hard 180 ledge quarter-pipe thing... Beautiful.
As if this massive ice wasnt impressive enough, Antonio adds in a huge bar over almost the entire road. By this point in the video, I knew I was watching something historical.
The rest of the video is all bangers. Either burly and stylish, or super technical. Really, a proper ending to such a great edit. Like this fast 180 to full-cab whip on this massive hip. Wow.
Additional note... A loading dock 5-cab truck after that clip. Also wow.
And of course, the cover image, this massive, stylish whip from the top rope of this huge 6 block.
If this video doesn't get you hyped up to ride and or film I can't help you.
Worth noting, Antonio's welcome to BSD Pro video by Dave Sowerby is also incredible and beautifully shot. Check out both these videos linked below, and hop over to BSD's website to see the specs and pre-order of the new frame. CONGRATS ANTONIO!
